On November 19th we had the pleasure of listening to the seminar given by Miku Nakanishi, a Master's student in Environmental Studies from Nagoya University. Miku Nakanishi introduces us to her laboratory research and project on the modification of PET fibers via aminolysis and metallization for catalysis applications.
The seminar took place as part of Miku's two-week internship in our laboratory. During her internship, Miku had the opportunity to become acquainted with the electrospinning method, 3D printing, and material characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, and contact angle measurements.
