From 7 to 11 September 2026, Olga Urbanek-Świderska and Sahranur Tabakoğlu Kirmiziay from our team participated in the 35th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB 2026) in Antwerp, Belgium. The conference provided an opportunity to present and discuss current research in the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering uniting researchers from various fields, including chemistry, physics, biology, biomaterials science, tissue engineering, and medicine. The conference gathered more than 1350 participants representing 49 countries providing a platfrom for exchanging international ideas.

Three posters were presented during the conference:

A novel drug delivery platform based on electrospun fibres dedicated to endometriosis treatment (presented by Olga Urbanek-Świderska, PhD Eng.)

Curcumin-Loaded GelMA/PCL-MEW Hybrid Scaffolds: Assessing Long-Term Release, Antioxidant Defense, and Cytocompatibility (presented by Sahranur Tabakoğlu Kirmiziay)

Effect of the Parameters of GelMA Synthesis on the Rheology and Printability (presented by Sahranur Tabakoğlu Kirmiziay, reporting research conducted within the M-ERA.NET project led by Prof. Dorota Kołbuk-Konieczny).
