The research areas in my Ph.D study were extensively interdisciplinary. I have systematically grasped the preparation, characterization, surface modification and photocatalytic applications of several nanocomposite materials such as nanoparticles nanorods as well as electrospun nanofibers. My main goal to pursue postdoctoral research is not only to strengthen my knowledge base and acquire valuable experience in a range of research techniques but also enhance my understanding of scientific biointerfaces with the areas such as Cell & Tissue Engineering and Bionanotechnology.
Education and professional experience
2009-2012, Ph.D Degree in Bionanosystem Engineering, Department of Bionanosystem Engineering, Graduate School, Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Jeonbuk, Title of Dissertation: Synthesis, characterization and antibacterial effect of TiO2-based nanocomposites for water treatment application. Supervisor: Prof. Cheol Sang Kim
2012-2014, Postdoctoral researcher, Division of Mechanical Design Engineering, Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Korea
2017-2018, Postdoctoral researcher, EMPA-Swiss Federal Laboratory for Materials and Technology, Switzerland
Research skills and interests
My research interests include morphologically and/or dimensionally controlled synthesis and characterization of nanocomposite materials, as well as investigation of the relationships between their structures and properties for biomedical application.
